Belle Burden’s grandmother was Babe Paley, the iconic NYC socialite and Vogue editor. Her father Carter Burden a descendant of the Vanderbilt family. Belle wrote about the end of her marriage in Strangers, which became a number one New York Times bestseller.

Her husband Henry Davis had an affair, left her and their three children during the pandemic, gave up custody, and pressured her to change their prenup five days before the wedding so he could keep every dollar he earned. He put up a bigger fight for his money than he ever did for his children.

I've been baffled by the criticism against her. She’s been called a doormat, ignorant and that her heartbreak doesn't count because she has a trust fund.

Her harshest critics are not men – they are women.
