MSF Academy for Healthcare: Outpatient care

The MSF Academy for Healthcare focuses on strengthening the skills and competencies of frontline healthcare workers, with the aim to increase the quality of provided to patients. It implements on-the-job learning programmes in nursing, midwifery, outpatient care, infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance, among others. The Outpatient Care initiative targets healthcare workers providing clinical consultations, mostly at health-centre level, and aims to increase their skills in clinical reasoning and decision-making, in a person-centered manner.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
