Make Briquettes out of waste sawdust and shavings. Multimate briquette maker #woodwork #workshop

A look into how I create these lovely blocks from my workshop waste that I then take home and burn on my Log burner.

One bag of shavings from my dust collection bag makes approximately 120 blocks. I also throw in tea bags, used coffee grinds and the coffee from the pods too.

At a quick speed I can make 30 blocks in 30 minutes. What others don't share is the best way to dry them. I only handle them the one time before they dry. This saves time and money.
And there's the fact that I don't have to take my waste to a waste site. I even give my ashes from our log burner to a Potter who filters it down and uses it as a period glaze on his pottery artworks.

If you want to see these blocks burn in real time to show just how they start and burn through. https://youtu.be/FO-tzZ6SdpQ
