Kayaking 177 miles on the Neuse River: Mountains to Sea Trail Segments 11A-16A: Day 2

Day 2 on the river took us about 20 miles downstream to Old Waynesboro Park in Goldsboro. The weather was gorgeous and we had a leisurely paddle to lunch. The current slowed as we approached Goldsboro and we had to work a little bit, but found a great spot tucked away to hang our hammocks for the night. Another day down and just under 56 miles paddled!
