FILM RETROSPECTIVE: SAMURAI COP WITH MATHEW KAREDAS

Mathew never thought anyone would see Samurai Cop, but it ended up being a huge part of his identity.

He just needed to get some tape to show casting agents, but he realized that the Lethal Weapon knock off was becoming a disaster of a film. Samurai Cop was sold over seas, not really being seen in the states. But, alas, it found it's way back over and became B movie, "so bad, it's good" royalty.

Now Mathew can't even go to the grocery store without some one noticing him as Samurai Cop.

Thankfully Matt has embraced this, even participating in a sequel and video game.

I asked Mathew a series of questions about what it was like on the hectic set and what life has been like since.
