Spotting a meteor is rare enough, even more so during broad daylight.
So, what are the chances of it happening on the same day, almost in the same place, 23 years later?
You will have seen by now .. that a fireball lit up the skies over the lower North Island today creating a dazzling daytime spectacle from Wellington to Palmerston North.
