GROCERY SHOPPING IN CHINA | International Supermarket vs. Chinese Markets! | Expat Life In Xi'an

If you were an expat living in China, where would you shop for your groceries?! Follow our video to find out where we shop and compare prices/items from international superstores to vegetable markets and Chinese supermarkets. We want to show you how much is available at international stores in China! But also, show you how much money you can SAVE by shopping at local markets.

We went to first an international food store in the south of Xi'an, China called Metro. We then went to a local market for our vegetables, also in the south of Xi'an. Then finally, we finished by going to a Chinese supermarket!

These three places should help you understand what shopping for food is like in China. Not much different from anywhere else!
