SLEEP HAS HER HOUSE... and some mixed feelings on experimental cinema

It's been a while since I last posted a video essay. In this one I do my best to explain why I think Scott Barley's "Sleep Has Her House" is very special to me, while also rambling about how experimental cinema can (more often than not) have underwhelming results. Anyway, this is really one of the messiest things that I've done but I had to put it out there, as convoluted as my thoughts are – You get a little bit of everything! Warhol! Luhrmann! Lynch! Isiah Medina! Maya Deren! Apichatpong Weerasethakul!
