Brief explanation:
Miguel and Francine are childhood friends but Francine have to leave because she have an incurable disease to get some treatments. They met again when Francine's a ghost. Miguel then found out that the ghost is his childhood best friend and her life is in danger. While Francine is hospitalized Miguel visits her everyday only to find out that the surgery was today. Not knowing why they hid the fact of the date of the surgery Miguel ran to the hospital only to found that Francine died and only left him with a letter and the necklace. Miguel saw her in a dream and years later when Miguel died they walked together to the after life.
