DIY Extra Large Track Saw Build

Join contractor and custom home builder Jaime Perkins as he builds a custom DIY track and carriage for straight edge ripping on a LARGE scale! This type of tool was needed to process larger volumes of rough sawn wood that will go into the homes we are building. Just FYI, we do own a Festool track saw, but it is designed more for finish carpentry applications.
Jaime designs and builds his track saw setup out of aluminum that he got for FREE, and has to learn how to weld aluminum (different that welding steel) with a TIG welder. Jaime really enjoys the creative process and he will tell you all about this one!
