„Enter a Space” to dobry tytuł dla tego wydawnictwa: wejdź do wszechświata pełnego teksturowanych organicznych i wodnych dźwięków. Podstawą tego projektu są korzenie, ale możesz cieszyć się nimi m.in. dzięki wpływom hip-hopu i soulu. Tak jest na singlu „River”, ze wspaniałym teledyskiem nakręconym w świętym mieście Varanasi w Indiach. W „Live up to the Day” można usłyszeć kilka nut bluesowych Mandingo dzięki N'Goni. W „Inna Nature” delektować się będziesz afrykańskimi dźwiękami griota Burkinabe, Losso Keita.
Magia tej EP wynika z pięknej, wspólnej fuzji Marcusa Gada i Tamala, tworzących unikalną symbiozę muzyki i tekstów inspirowanych hinduską filozofią Advaita Vedenta. Marcus Gad’s message is fed by a powerful musical trance and refined sound with no artifice inviting to travel and reflection. Cultural ambassador from a lost island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where nature and tribal customs are still wonderfully preserved, Marcus Gad remind us our first essence in this crisis times. More than music his art will invite you to leave an exotic sensorial experience. Two years after his first album “Chanting”, presented on more than 100 shows around Europe, Marcus Gad is back with a new 6 tracks EP on a successful collaboration with Parisian beatmaker Tamal who’s working with him since the beginning.
“Enter a Space” is well named: enter a universe full of textured organic and aquatic sounds. This project’s base is roots but you’ll can enjoy it with some hip-hop and soul influences on the “River” singlewith a wonderful videoclip shot in the Indian holy city of Varanasi. On “Live up to the Day” you can hear some Mandingoes blues notes with the N’Goni sound, and on “Inna Nature” savour African sonorities for a high-level collaboration with the Burkinabe’s griot Losso Keita.
Magic of this EP comes from the fusional featuring between Marcus Gad and Tamal, who are creating a unique symbiose with music and lyrics inspired by the Indian philosophy of Advaita Vedenta. Marcus Gad makes us think about reality of the human being and about incarnation. Are we just a body, just a spirit? Are we something deeper? A universe to discover with his show first time in Ostróda, with his band Tribe.
