You want to go as cheap as possible when first starting out so that you can pay your house off as fast as possible. Later, as you upsize your houses, you'll have a larger down payment which means you pay less interest to the bank over your lifetime. The less interest you pay, the more you'll keep, which means the more you'll be worth. There are at least 5 reasons why you should upgrade your house to a larger size.
