Rio Chico, Montanita, Olon Beach, Ecuador (Bus from Guayaquil)- English

Flight into Guayaquil, then bus to Montanita/Olon- then to Rio Chico... just 3-5 minutes away from Montanita. During the week almost no one is on the beach.:) It is tranquil and we're getting a lot of writing and reading accomplished. It's absolutely beautiful and so close to other attractions, like whale watching, Isla de la Plata/Machalilla Nat'l Park, Montanita, and Olon.
