Klose: "The football I grew up playing is no longer there" - Oh My Goal

The World Cup’s all-time top scorer, Miroslav Klose has left his mark on a generation of football fans. Considered one of the greatest German players of all time, the striker retired in November 2016. He made his decision after seeing how his favorite sport had changed.

"The football I grew up playing is no longer there. Today, all players care about are their cars, their shoes with their names on them, and their image. While for me, the only thing that counted was football. Nothing else."
