UnREAL's Shiri Appleby & Constance Zimmer

The A+E Studios series UnREAL made its debut earlier this month on Lifetime. Airing Mondays at 10 p.m., the drama is set against the backdrop of a fictional dating competition series, Everlasting. It stars Shiri Appleby as a young producer who must manipulate the contestants, and Constance Zimmer as the demanding executive producer calling the shots.

The drama, distributed globally by A+E Networks, is based on the short film Sequin Raze by Sarah Gertrude Shapiro, who is overseeing the show with TV veteran Marti Noxon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce).
