Norwegian Lundehund Six Toe Dog || All You Need You Know || One of Rarest Breed of Dog

In rocky island off the Norwegian coast called Vaeroy, breeds a unique spitz- dog known as Norwegian Lundehund. Lund means Puffin Their name shows were onced used in hunting of puffins. Norweigian Lundehund sometimes called Norsk Lundehund or Norwegian puffin dog. Puffin gave eggs in the nest, which they build in the holes of the mountain. Norsk peoples depended on pickled puffin flesh to maintain them through longspun Arctic wintertimes, and the powerful, flexible Lundehund was the only way to reach them. with extremly flexible body and fox type look, it has six fully developed toes, unlike other dogs that only have five. Of those six toes, four are forward pointing and two face inward. they have triangular ear, curving tail, and dense double coat which depends on the temprature and environment.On February 12, 2010, the Board Directors of the American Kennel Club voted to accept the Norwegian Lundehund as a breed in AKC and on December 1, 2010 into the AKC stud book . On January 1, 2011, it became a part of the Non-Sporting Group.[6]
Unique Facts:
Some people beleives that they are the descendent of an ancient canine breed called The Varanger dog, which is now extinct and its fossil were found in Lapland/Russia due to they have same jaws with the one less teeth on each side of the jaw, which is two fewer then all other dog breed
The puffin dog is also able to bend its head right back, to the point at which it can touch its own back.
A really flexible shoulder joint allows them to turn forelegs out to the side at a 90-degree angle to their body.
