The 5 Best MLS Create-A-Club Ideas!

1 - Chivas USA
We’re starting our list with a club that did play in the MLS between 2004 and 2014, but is interesting enough to recreate on FIFA 22 CAC
The goats were a sister club to the most supported Mexican club, Chivas Guadalajara.
The Mexican owner club are known for their brilliant youth development, but also have their own policy similar to Athletic Club, where they can only sign players from the same nation.
This reboot of Chivas USA could easily have a similar policy, where they only sign a roster of players who are eligible for the United States.
It could be a really good save trying to generate income to sign the best American talents from Europe, players like Pulisic and McKennie, to see if you can go undefeated over the length of an MLS season.
2 - Antigua Barracuda

Based in the island of Antigua, alongside Sevilla FC Puerto Rico and River Plate Puerto Rico they were founding members of Americas 3rd tier (tentatively named Caribbean Division)
The 2013 season saw the club lose each of their 26 games, tying the North American professional sports record
Only the 3rd ever football team to go an entire season and lose every single game.
MLS teams based outside of the mainland US are allowed, several from Canada are already in the league & others in other countries have proposed.
There are a few Antiguan players on FIFA, and even more with Antigua as their second nationality.

See if you can sign both of them, if you’re on PC make sure to set a youth scout to scout various Caribbean nations, if you’re on console why not sign some Jamaicans, Trinidadians or Cubans to become the pride of the West Indies.
3 - Quebec FC
Canada already has 3 MLS teams with Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver all currently in the American League system.
Quebec has a distinct culture compared to the rest of Canada, this would be reflected in their passion for football & different views on how the team would be set up.
Compared to the rest of the country, Quebec leans more on its French roots than its English ones, with the most spoken language being French.
Would be a great save if you’re interested in bringing some older French players to the MLS, players like Ben Arfa, Valbuena or Ribery (maybe all 3)
You’d have big rivalries with all 3 of the Canadian teams, but your goal should be uniting with them to make the Canadian team as good as nations with similar populations, such as Morocco or Poland.
Quebec itself has a national football team, beating other unofficial teams like Tibet 21-0, so make sure to scout both Canada and France to keep the pipeline of talent coming through.

4 - Norfolk, Virginia
One of the US’ oldest states, Virginia was where George Washington both was born and died, yet the Norfolk area is one of the biggest cities with no professional sports teams in the entire USA.
Over 1.5 million people live in Virginia Beach, yet their biggest football team is the Virginia Beach City FC who play in the semi professional US Development Leagues.
You’ll be recreating them, and trying to bring through some more famous Americans from Virginia, by spending as much money on bringing through youth players.

5 - Detroit City
Michigans biggest and most famous city has had a series of Football teams over the past few decades. With plenty of history & jerseys to chose from, including Detroit Express, Lansing Ignite FC & West Michigan Edge, my personal choice would be Detroit City.
Detroit used to be the 4th largest city in the USA, then lots of car businesses moved out and city is largely a ghost town
NFL team is one of the worst in the league, NBA team is also one of lowest ranked teams this season
A new MLS team based in Detroit would be rivals with Columbus, who are one of the best teams in the MLS. It would be a fun challenge to try to overtake a mainstay club with your new team.
Recently beat MLS team Columbus Crew in the US Open Cup
An MLS team could finally get Detroit the recognition they used to have.
