POV Drive Daihatsu Feroza 1997 1.6l 4x4

The production of the vehicle began in 1989 and was discontinued in 1999. The Feroza was available in several equipment variants and received a facelift in 1994. From 1988 to 1991, the car was equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 86 hp (HD-C), followed by a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 95 hp and catalytic converter (HD-E).

The similarity between Feroza and his big brother, the Daihatsu Rocky , is hard to miss. Both are off-road vehicles with four-wheel drive and support depending on the equipment, but the Rocky has the greater ground clearance and the larger engine, so that the Feroza is designed primarily for light terrain.

The car was marketed in the US as Rocky, in Japan as Rocky SX and in the UK as Sportrak.
