Golden Axe (Sega Genesis/Mega Drive - Ax Battler No Death Playthrough)

Another game that made kids back then crazy for the Sega Genesis... Or Mega Drive, depending on where you live, was this one. It was the closest we had to playing the Conan - The Barbarian movie. Swords, buff enemies, dragons, skeletons and people wearing loincloths as if it was ever a fashionable accessory! It's amazing.

In here, i play with Ax-Battler. He was never my favorite, for the way i see it, the other characters were better in every way. Gillius was the strongest, Tyris had the most powerful magic, all Ax-Battler has going for him was a nice haircut.

He let his hair grow on Golden Axe II, so he wasn't even good enough to keep a competent coiffeur on for long.

Pathetic.
