However, if you are building a lifestyle business that is not sellable and has limited earning potential, equity investment is not for you.

I am one of those extremely ambitious entrepreneurs who is aiming to become the next Elon Musk. I’ve been told many times that I don’t need investment. Ironically, male founders who have millions in investment often tell me I could bootstrap. Whoever tells you this, don’t listen! It’s a trap that keeps female founders at the bottom. You need investment, and you need to prove yourself ten times more than male founders to get funded.
