If you want a soft cowhide rug or bison robe you MUST do this step first!
Dry scraping is the process of thinning a thick hide in order to make it easier to soften. It is essential for large, thick hides like cow or bison. It is easy to punch holes (as I illustrate in this video) so be careful and remember it doesn't have to be perfect :)
