Aikido kao tsuki kokyunage

How to do aikido kao tsuki kokyunage is our focus today in this video. Lenny sly sensei of the #roguewarriors training compound teaches us his unique approach tohis tenshin aikido kokyunage technique. Sly sensei teaches us a rare kokyunage off of a kao tsuki attack. Sensei first shows from the kata form of this technique the proper attack of kao tsuki and then applying uke nagaeshi evasion. As he evades the attack he tenkan and capturing the attack from underneath at the same time. Sensei then applies kokyunage and directs the throw straight to the ground... instead of projecting the throw out and away. sensei always makes a point to throw straight to the ground, rather than projecting out. This is one of many staples in lenny sly aikido that makes his aikido more effective than most other styles. After sensei demonstrates and during demonstration sensei show how the uke would take proper ukemi to prevent the possibly of injury.
