🚨 WAVES Plugins are now SUBSCRIPTION ONLY 🚨

Waves plugins are now subscription ONLY! Meaning you can no longer purchase single Waves audio plugins. When a new plugin come out, the ONLY way to use it is to subscribe. **UPDATE**

On March 29, Waves announced that they are NOT going to implement this plan, and they are going back to normal - new video:

Waves Update Plan (WUP) is also no longer availible. So what ever Waves plugins you currently own will be stuck at that version forever - you will not be able to update your perpetual licenses to a new version. The only way to access NEW plugins and NEW versions is to subscribe.

The new plan is called the Waves Creative Access, and there are two levels:

Waves Essential and Waves Ultimate.

Waves Ultimate is now, essentially, the new Waves Mercury.

If you run the numbers on the subscription price, it turns out to be a pretty good deal for people new to audio, or those with few Waves plugins.

It may also be a good deal for those who WUP their plugins every year - which is essentially what this new subscription model is - a forced WUP, except you never own the plugins.

It may not be a good deal for those that already own large bundles and only upgrade/WUP to new versions when needed.

Some of this may change in the future, but as of now, subscriptions are the ONLY way to access new Waves plugins, and new versions of Waves plugins.

You can continue using the plugins you already own, but you will not be able to update them, ever. You must subscribe if you need a newer version.

There is no way to OWN new Waves plugins.

WUP is no longer availible.
