To finish evacuations of Americans from Afghanistan along with Afghans who helped during the war, President Biden says troops could remain there past his Aug. 31 withdrawal deadline. The president is also coming under new fire from critics for saying he believes the chaos in Afghanistan was unavoidable. NBC chief White House correspondent Peter Alexander reports for TODAY.
