Microtech Socom Elite New 2018 Version: First Impressions

IT'S BACK PEOPLE! Excellent knife. Just went over some things I noticed about the new model of the Socom. Talked about:
Love the Socom Model. One of my all time favs for EDC and now hard use
New blade steel: Very good. Better 35vn
New handle material. 7075-T6. Research is stronger, and more durable. More expensive but price is the same, Same weight. Better blade stop
Inserts
Different blade shapes. Maybe a con. Thick behind the edge but seems to slice ok.
Difference in lockside of the handle
Lock is drilled in, better than old model. Insert also.

Looking to be another great knife. Gonna get a clip before the full review
