Directorate General of Income Tax's (I-T) investigation wing of Mumbai has provisionally attached a flat in Bandra West, officially valued at Rs 5 crore, of former BMC standing committee chairman and ex-Shiv Sena corporator Yashwant Jadhav and 40 other properties allegedly controlled by him, in the alleged tax evasion case.The I-T suspects most of these properties were purchased through tainted money that Jadhav earned while he was standing committee chairman between 2018 and March 2022.
