Jesse James Birthplace! James Farm & Museum In Kearney Missouri!

Just 25 minutes from Kansas City, the birthplace of Jesse James, the James Family Farm is a great day trip! See where he was buried and get a great view of what you can see if you come visit the James Farm & Museum! As the museum is doing maintenance and some renovations to the house you will get a RARE VIEW(possibly once in a lifetime view) of the original timber and bare bones of a section of the house! Don't miss the burn marks that are in the floor from where the Pinkertons tried to "smoke out the family" and ended up blowing off Jesse and Franks mother Zerelda. As no pictures are allowed inside the home you will just have to plan a visit to tour the part not being renovated!
