I decided to purchase Dragy a few months ago and use it in order to evaluate my 0 to 60 time on the BMW i8. I'm glad I had it because I felt some improvement in the map file I received from Alex at Yorkshire DPF Centre and wanted to test the tune. I noticed a gain in 0 to 60 time as well as 1G of force experienced during the shift to second gear. Even more, I noticed myself being planted in the seat more in 2nd gear, and my seat belt was locking up upon deceleration after the tune was installed. I knew something had changed but I needed to prove it. This video shows what performance gains were evaluated, and discusses my plans for the future, including trying 100 octane race fuel, and doing another dyno pull and tune.

Also, I want to add, that I have not tested this over 60 MPH and don't intend to. I don't track my car and have only cared about making modifications to make my drives more fun. I think this modification may help my goal, which may be different than yours.

I totally forgot to mention this in the video: I told the tuner I wanted a safe tune and I only wanted drivability to feel more exciting. Even if the numbers did not result in a significant gain in power or a significant decrease in 0 to 60 time, I honestly did not care. I can say I feel good about this tune not hurting the car and it feels great to drive with it. But, feelings aren't something that can be conveyed. Thus the need to get the times on Dragy.

Regarding the fuel: US 93 Octane is based on the AKI standard which is equivalent to 98 RON in other countries. 100 Octane race fuel will be 105 RON.
