Come see 4000 Coachella Valley Wind Turbines on the San Gorgonio Mountain Pass, in the San Bernadino Mountains. When they are all on line, they can provide enough electricity to power Palm Springs and the entire Coachella Valley.

Driving around this area FILLED with these giant tower mounted machines is a treat. You simply cannot believe how stacked on top of each other they all are. We are hypnotized by these babies every time we come across them in our travels!

When we were in Fort Myers last year at an RV Resort, we told other seasoned full time RVers that we would be wintering in the Palm Springs area this year. They warned us it would be windy. I thought,….” it can’t be that bad,…... we will probably hardly notice it,……we are from Wisconsin! ”

WRONG. They neglected to tell me about the “virtual sea” of wind turbines grinding away. I would of been able to figure it out a little bit better with that data,…….there is a reason wind turbines are installed here!
