It is no secret that traveling in Alaska can be EXPENSIVE. Most wildlife tours require a flight or boar ride, some of which are close to $1,000 per person.

📍This is a fish hatchery in Valdez, Alaska - a place that is accessible by car and FREE to visit.

If you visit in the summer months, it is almost always guaranteed you will see sea lions, bears, and eagles feeding on the millions of salmon coming back to release their eggs.

➡️ We visited this place 4 days in a row - each day we watched something happen that we didn’t see the day before…like a grizzly and her cubs playing in a stream catching fish or a sea lions itching itself with its claw 🤯🙃

This is truly one of the coolest, awe inspiring places we have been to - it is so rare to get to observe multiple animals interacting in one spot for hours on end. Our memories here will go down as some of our favorite memories of the year to date 💛
