In this video you will see how the blacksmiths make a cow bell. They make it from a v-shaped angle steel bar. It costs under 4 US dollars for this bell. I think it is cheap but the quality is good, it can produce loud noise. The noise can be heard from the distance of about 1 kilometer in the quiet forest. There are two kinds of bells. One needs to be done with heat treatment while another one doesn't. They don't make the same sound. They make different bells to identify they cows, male cow or female cow.
