Bosch Router External Switch (Bosch MRC23EVS / GOF 1600 / GMF 1600)

Building an external switch for my Bosch GOF 1600 or Bosch MRC23EVS for use in a router lift, a panto router or what ever.

That router motor has a nice cylindrical body, perfect for the use with homemade jigs and fixtures. There is only one problem - it has no switch in it!
The switch is integrated in the plunge base which connects to the motor via a sliding contact. I recreated the male part of the contact as it is integrated in the base. I used the circuit I got from the bosch replacement part center. This circuit is really cheap (3€).
The cool part about this is that I can noch switch my pantorouter on and off very conveniently without letting go of the handle.
