Coronavirus: Moscow eases lockdown - but has Russia been transparent on deaths?

Russia, which has the world's third-largest number of coronavirus cases, lifted tight restrictions as Putin sets up for a constitutional vote that could extend his hold on power.

It comes as the World Health Organisation questioned the accuracy of the official COVID-19 death toll.

The 67-year-old chose not to wear a face covering , and neither did most of those he awarded with Hero of Russia medals in a rare appearance publicly at a memorial park in Moscow.
