The First Native American Flute I Ever Made

Technically the first traditional flute I ever made was one my grandfather showed me how to make from a tree sapling. This flute is one that I consider to be the first flute I ever made that most people would recognize as being a traditional flute. It was made from wood dredged from the swamp I grew up in. The tools I used to make this flute were a pocket knife, a rock and some sand paper. My mom held on to this flute until she passed away a couple of years ago. Now it is back home with me and someday will be the reminder of the legacy I carry on and that my grandchildren will hopefully carry on into the future.
Thanks for watching. I hope you'll continue to watch more and check out some of the previous videos we have made on making and playing the Native American Flute.
