One of my most embarrassing moments was while standing on a stage in front of thousands of people (and being broadcast on national television)... I couldn't speak.

Instantly, public speaking became one of my biggest fears!

While preparing for Miss South Africa and Miss World, I went through months of public speaking training. For me, public speaking is like a muscle, you can't expect it to stay fit after training it for a few months and then stopping. I constantly do research and actively work on my public speaking skills and confidence. I compiled 7 steps that have been most valuable to me over the years.

Whether you have to speak in front of one, ten or one hundred people, I believe these 7 steps I'm about to share with you, could be valuabe.
