Why We Might See a United Ireland Soon

The idea of a united Ireland seemed unlikely until now. The invisible border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland has been maintaining peace for over 20 years. However, the United Kingdom decided to leave the European Union to have more control over its borders. Closing the border between the two Irelands means that the Good Friday Agreement from 1998 is violated. Could Northern Ireland leave the United Kingdom to join the Republic of Ireland?
