Don’t Get This Wrong in PMI-ACP | Agile Team Assignments

In this video, we explain Agile Team Assignments through PMI-ACP® exam-style scenario-based questions, focusing on how work is assigned in self-organizing Agile teams.

Many PMI-ACP candidates lose marks by applying traditional project management thinking to Agile scenarios. In Agile, team members pull work, managers do not assign tasks, and collaboration drives commitment.

ACP Scenario: A team member expresses their dissatisfaction with their current duties and feels that they are being underutilized. What should the agile practitioner do?

A. Ask the team if the team member can be included in more project tasks
B. Request that human resources transfer the team member to a different team
C. Have a meeting with the team member to evaluate their commitment to the team
D. Empower the functional manager to make the final decision to fix the issue
