The power of images and action to prevent the extinction of our species: a "moonshot mission" to make billions of people care.
Louie Psihoyos, known for his still photography and contributions to National Geographic, has been described as one of the ten top photographers in the world. Louie is a also documentary film-maker, increasingly concerned with bringing awareness to underwater life. In 2009 he directed and appeared in the feature-length documentary The Cove, which won an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. Racing Extinction, his acclaimed 2015 feature dealing with the illegal wildlife trade was nominated for an Emmy and an Oscar.
