Special Olympics is back at Providence Park

Economic hardship suspended the Oregon Fall Special Olympics after the 2008 Games. Support from Providence Health & Services and the Portland Timbers re-lighted the torch this year. More than 600 intellectually disabled athletes and their 200 coaches participated in soccer, volleyball and swimming events.
