Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Perfect day for outdoor plans, highs in the 80s coming up

Your 7 a.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for May 10, 2024:

Just a few areas of patchy fog this morning, but sunshine will quickly take over and be abundant for the rest of the day. Temperatures will soar into the 80s for most. Winds will be light and mainly from the north, keeping lakeside areas just a touch cooler.

80s stick around for the first half of the work/school week. Mainly sunny and mainly dry for Monday and Tuesday. A chance for showers/storms on Wednesday. Temperatures transition to 70s for the later part of the week. Saturday will bring the next round of showers/storm potential.
