Phone Hack: Live Photo as Lock Screen Background on iPhone SE (2020)

The 2020 iPhone SE does not natively support the ability to have a live photo as a lock screen background. This is due to the lack of 3D touch in the iPhone SE. HOWEVER if you also have an iPhone that has 3D touch into the phone, there is a work around to putting a live photo as your lock screen background on your iPhone SE (2020).

1. On both of your iPhones, make sure each iPhone has the same apps installed.

2. On your 3D touch iPhone, put as your lock screen a Live Photo. Make sure this photo will come to life when you put your finger on your phone’s screen.

3. Back up your 3D touch iPhone to your computer.

4. On your iPhone SE (2020), connect it to your computer.

5. Restore the backup from your 3D touch iPhone to your iPhone SE (2020).

You now have a Live Photo as your lock screen background on your brand new iPhone SE (2020).
