Yarra river fishing during COVID lockdown FISH ARE BITING

It's cold, wet and COVID lockdown but we can go fishing so it's not all bad.

I went to the Yarra River in the North East suburbs and in the 2 hours I had available I managed to land a good size carp. I was so happy to get a fish in these tough conditions...and a reasonable size one at that.

I used a simple rig, a nice big worm for bait and threw in a trickle of berley pellets to get the fish feeding. It worked and I hooked a fish.

What a blast.
