This is the story of a dying, and soon dead industry. While Blockbuster was once a community hotspot, they have since fallen into bankruptcy, and have little chance of ever coming back. While technology might have killed off blockbuster, there remains 60 million americans without internet access. Those lackinginternet have lost their contact with the world of entertainment and pop culture. Blockbuster’s 80 thousand former employees are also caught in the crossfire, and were left out of work during the economic depression of the late 2000’s.
