Lorna Shore - Immortal (Vocal Cover)

This is my vocal cover of the song Immortal by Lorna Shore. When I heard this song I was very surprised and impressed, and it made me want to venture just a little out of my usual territory. I have never tried to record or cover a Deathcore song before, so this is a small twist on my usual covers, but there are a lot of familiar elements going on here and it all blends together nicely.

I was able to remove most of the original vocals but I lost a bit of audio quality in the process. The production is so insanely layered that it was impossible to remove the vocals in a couple spots (specifically the breakdown section which sounds pretty crowded now), but for the most part the original growls are removed and I added several extra layers throughout the entire song so you would mostly hear my voice in the sections where the old backing vocals pop up. As a result all of the vocals are too loud. lol

If you made it this far, here is the backing track I made for this cover. A few people have asked me for it now. It is not a true instrumental, but I have greatly reduced to vocal volume at the cost of audio quality. Due to the sheer amount of vocal effects and layering the producer used on this album there are still some backing layers leftover in spots, especially the breakdown. But for the most part you can barely hear the original vocal track.
