This video depicts the journey of oocytes right after being retrieved from the ovaries to the time they are fertilized till the time they are transferred to patient's uterus.

We have tried to capture the oocyte cumulous complex right from the time it is being aspirated during the Ovum pick up or Egg Retrieval till the time it is inseminated with sperms.

Fertilization assessment of oocytes are done by 2PN check and the fertilized oocytes are then cultured in incubators till they become Blastocyst.

Video has tried to follow a case where 5 Oocytes were retrieved, 4 of them Fertilized by IVF and eventually we got 2 good grade Blastocyst on day 5. One of the Blastocyst was then transferred to the patient, while the other was frozen for later use.

Video also tries to show how embryos are graded on Day 3 and Day 5.
We have tried to capture the Embryo Loading procedure during Embryo Transfer in an ET Catheter. The ET Catheter is then inserted in the uterine cavity to release the Embryos in the uterus.

This beautiful and miraculous process is an everyday routine within our IVF Lab, however, every time we see it in form of a story, we feel proud of the work that we do.

Entire video was shot in house by our team using mobile phones and camera's attached to our microscopes. Video was scripted, created and edited by our Embryologist's.
