Sergei Voronkin was born and raised in the ancient city of Kursk. Since childhood he was fond of art creativity, he could write for hours, draw nature and illustrations to his favorite books, but he often dreamed of space and distant worlds. He studied at an art school, by education as an artist and designer. Repeatedly participated in regional, personal, international exhibitions and competitions. At the age of 20, a tragedy occurred with the artist, resulting in the "Clinical death" .... This fact and a series of events not directly related to painting, influenced the further life and work of Sergei Voronkin. After numerous operations and prolonged rehabilitation, the artist resumed his creative work, which helped him to recover. Sergei intuitively sought the path of self-improvement, independently developed for himself a rehabilitation program, where painting and playing sports are a system of psycho-training and physical development. Few people believed that a dying young man could not only recover, but also achieve real progress in both painting and physical self-improvement. Now the artist has a large number of followers and admirers both in Russia and abroad who have learned about the artist through social networks and support his talent and life concept. His paintings from the series "Dreams of Consciousness," which he calls intuitive painting, are acquired by private organizations and collectors interested in works in the style of fantasy, questions of the unknown, as well as physical and spiritual development. For people with severe and even fatal diseases, the paintings of the artist Sergei Voronkin are an example and an incentive to fight the disease and victory of the spirit over the flesh. The artist continues to work in the genre of the landscape, which also takes a worthy place in his work, but, his main business, Sergei considers the work on the series "Dreams of Consciousness", intuitively solving the tasks set for himself ... ..
