From this first collaboration with Bolzan comes a family of products designed to stay next to the bed.
We started thinking about small tables that could also be containers and for the first time Bolzan wanted to include a real bedside table with a drawer in its catalogue.
The idea was to create a family that had the ability to vary.
For this first edition we decided to choose colors that could already be in line with the Bolzan catalogue, a glossy blue, an acid green and a light grey.
I took inspiration from the work of Le Corbusier, Maison Domino, where the architect left the plan free and the structure visible. Also for my project I tried to create a pillar capable of supporting the floor and closing the actual structure. We have these three floors which are closed only at this point and the pillar closes the shape of the structure. We're going to insert a lower shelf at this level and then insert the drawer as well.
Another small intuition of this project is to have a pillar that could be on both the right and left side of the bed, simply by moving this column.
We are already working on expanding this family which may also be able to enter not only the bed environment, but also a little more in the home environment.
