Inside abandoned Aldwych station | City Secrets | Time Out
Aldwych tube station (formerly Strand) opened in 1907. It was used as a shelter during the Blitz, and more recently as a film location after its closure in 1994. Time Out got a bit of a peek into the secret tunnels and platforms of the station.
