Meet the LGBTIs who welcomed 80 million people to Heathrow this year
One of the best parts of traveling through Heathrow Airport is seeing the beaming faces on the posters greeting you in arrivals and departures.
No matter your nationality, sexuality or gender identity, the smiling faces are there to let you know you are welcome.
The world-famous posters have featured everyone from cabbies to British astronaut Tim Peake – then last year, you!
In 2018, Digital Pride teamed up with Heathrow to find four people from the Gay Star News audience and LGBTI community to be the welcoming face of Pride. This year, they’re upping the ante and looking for people to appear on the posters and reflect the diversity of visitors to Europe’s biggest airport.
Whether you’re a cute couple, adorable family or spectacular and single, all are welcome to apply for the chance to be the face representing both the LGBTI community and people traveling to and from the UK.
