“Commander Husker” she said imperatively, “Please be sure to check the analysis for further study of Andromeda. I want to know as much as possible about the galaxy before we reach it.”

“Yes Captain”, said Joseph Husker.

Joseph had, for some time now, loved Amber, the captain of the Celarnavus ship, destined to reach the Andromeda galaxy in 10 months. The whole crew had been in space for nearly a year now, they had finally reached the outer rim of the Milky Way galaxy. He had slowly loved her from the beginning of the mission. Was it her eyes that were as blue as the visible sky from earth? Her hair, which flowed more greatly than any nebula? He was not sure.

After looking at her for a split second more, he turned around and walked slowly to the main deck. Joseph stared out into space and saw them leaving behind their own home. He thought for a while. His mind suddenly grew quiet for a short period of time. He came back to reality, and again looked at the Milky Way. He realized something. That even this wondrous galaxy which held magnificent stars, which encompassed alluring planets, could never go beyond the beauty of Amber Velocity...
